Aqua One MicroPad

Removes free-floating waste and debris before pollutants can break down into toxins. Suitable for Fresh or Saltwater use 

The Aqua One Micro Pad is a tightly woven mechanical filter pad designed for removing fine/coarse free floating particles from your aquarium.  This prevents the biological media from becoming clogged decreasing the risk of disease and stress on fish.  It also ensures crystal clear water.

The Aqua One Carbo Pad is a tightly woven chemical filter pad which absorbs residual medications, tannins released from driftwood and dissolved organics.  It also supplements any other chemical or biological filter media by removing free floating particles and colours by trapping them whilst "polishing" your water.

Aqua One Filter Pads give the user the ability to cut and shape their pads to suit any filtration system.

The Aqua One Zeo Pad

is a tightly woven chemical filter pad which absorbs ammonia from your aquarium. When introduced into your filtration system, Zeo Pad reduces the risk of ammonia (NH3) toxicity in turn reducing the risk of disease and stress on fish ensuring crystal clear water. Zeo Pad does not substitute for good aquarium keeping practices. Zeo Pad should be used as a preventative or treatment, not a cure for prolonged ammonia concentrations in your aquarium.

Aqua One Phospad

The Aqua One Phos Pad is a tightly woven chemical filter pad which absorbs phosphate from your aquarium water. High phosphate levels within an aquarium is one of the major food sources for algae. Phosphate builds up over time as a result of to much or poor quality fish food, lack of regular water changes and decaying plant or animal matter.  Phos Pad does not substitute for good aquarium keeping practices, Phos Pad should be used as a preventative.

Aqua One BioNood Advance Noodles

The noodles allow bacteria to cultivate on and within them. They also channel the water in all different directions, ensuring that all of the filter media is used. This process is capable of reducing toxins like Ammonia within the aquarium far more efficiently.

Fluval Nitrate Absorbing Cartridge

The Fluval Nitrate cartridge is for use with the Fluval G3 advanced filter and will remove up to 13000 mg of nitrate ion in fresh water aquariums. Nitrate concentration should not exceed 20 mg/L in freshwater aquariums; The Fluval G6 Nitrate cartridge is for use with the Fluval G6 advanced filter and will remove up to 24000 mg of nitrate ion in fresh water aquariums. Nitrate concentration should not exceed 20 mg/L in freshwater aquariums; Planted aquariums require approximately 5mg/L of nitrate as a source of nitrogen for healthy plant growth. The continuous use of the Fluval G Nitrate cartridge in aquariums with persistent nitrate problems is an effective solution against nitrate accumulation.

Fluval Pre-Filter Cartridge

The Fluval G Mechanical Pre-filters are daily use cartridges for the Fluval G3 / G6 Advanced Filter and will trap suspended debris for effective mechanical filtration in fresh or marine applications. Designed as a “no by-pass” system, debris remains caught between each pleat until it is removed and rinsed. For extended use it is recommended the cartridge is cleaned at least every 2-3 weeks.

The Fluval Phosphate cartridge is for use with the Fluval G3 Advanced Filter and will rapidly remove up to 2200 mg of phosphate ion from marine or fresh water aquaria. The Fluval G3 Phosphate cartridge is for use with the Fluval G3 Advanced Filter and will rapidly remove up to 3900 mg of phosphate ion from marine or fresh water aquaria

The continuous use of the Fluval G Phosphate cartridge in aquariums with persistent phosphate problems is an effective solution against phosphate build up. If used as a quick solution to reduce elevated phosphate concentration the cartridge can be removed once levels have normalized and then stored until required.

Aqua One Carbon Cartridges

Carbon is effective in the removal of toxins from your aquarium water, however the Carbon cartridge should not be used as a treatment. Regular testing of water quality and regular water changes should be maintained.

Replacement of your Carbon cartridges every 6 - 8 weeks is necessary to ensure the continued health of your fish and aquarium water.

Purigen

Purigen® is a premium synthetic adsorbent that is unlike any other filtration product. It is not a mixture of ion exchangers or adsorbents, but a unique macro-porous synthetic polymer that removes soluble and insoluble impurities from water at a rate and capacity that exceeds all others by over 500%. Purigen® controls ammonia, nitrites and nitrates by removing nitrogenous organic waste that would otherwise release these harmful compounds. Purigen’s™ impact on trace elements is minimal. It significantly raises redox. It polishes water to unparalleled clarity. Purigen® darkens progressively as it exhausts, and is easily renewed by treating with bleach. Purigen® is designed for both marine and freshwater use.

Matrix

Matrix™ is a high porosity biomedia that provides efficient biofiltration for the removal of nitrogenous waste. Matrix™ is a porous inorganic solid about 10 mm in diameter. Each liter of Matrix™ provides as much surface (>~700 m²) as 170 liters of plastic balls! Plastic bio-materials provide only external surface area, whereas Matrix™ provides both external and internal macroporous surface area. These macropores are ideally sized for the support of nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. This allows Matrix™, unlike other forms of biomedia, to remove nitrate along with ammonia and nitrite, simultaneously and in the same filter.
